    How To Kill Roaches

    category: Health

There are few parts of the world immune from cockroaches, one of the hardest to kill insects on this planet. If you suffer from a roach infestation, you’re probably wondering right now what kind of options you have to kill these things. This article is here to help.

Basically, there are two ways of getting rid of roaches. One is to actually kill them. The other is to trap them and throw them out. You can do this yourself, or call in professional help. We’ll discuss all the options here.

If you’re looking to trap your roaches, you’ll need some sort of sticky trap. You can either buy these at the store or make some yourself by rubbing petroleum jelly on the inside of a jar, or onto a board. If you’re using the board option (most store bought traps work this way) you’ll want to base them in cool, dark edges and corners. Think inside of cabinets. This is also a great way of seeing if you have roaches in the first place.

If you choose to use poison, you have a couple different methods to choose from. There are the typical roach motels, roach sprays, and other options. The best of these common ones is the roach motel style bait trap. These poison the roaches, and they spread the poison to others.

Of all the “do it yourself” options, boric acid is almost certainly the best. Boric acid comes in a powder form. You can spread this powder along baseboards and corners. It will stick to the roaches and kill them. This is very effective, and not too expensive.

Calling a professional is another option. Simply put, this will save you the hassle of thoroughly covering your house with boric acid. There are several different methods professionals use, so be sure to ask around before settling on one particular exterminator.

So, you know have an idea of the many different techniques for killing roaches. It will take a lot of work and some trial and error, but know that it is possible to be roach free if you fight hard enough!
